This column is strictly reserved to showcase skateboarding edits that exemplify an extremely high level of performance, often spanning all spectrums of skateboarding being practiced today. These "Skate Everything" videos are what really get the B.O.O.B. Crew's blood boiling and inspire us to get out and try new artistic expressions atop our sleds. Recently our Community Contributor, Bustin Boards put out a cinematic master piece showcasing exactly this type of skating via the artistic expressions of William Royce. Bustin teamed up with Brett Novak to put out this instant classic video that shows exactly what it means to put your wheels on anything and everything in your path. Peep these new clips of Bill Rice and get stoked to get out there and destroy everything concrete in your neck of the woods!

JAH Bless y'all and make sure to get out and roll around ASAP because its never worth putting off a good putt around with the homies!

Last week I had the opportunity to skate with an OG homie who helped me get back into skating about 5 years ago at the newly built Team Pain park in Apex NC. Collin Gueterman is a wizard on his board making every maneuver look  effortless no matter what the obstacle he is hitting. I pulled the camera out to digitize these movements and within a single hour, Collin had produced enough footie to throw together an edit. I will preface this video with the fact that Collin fell on only one attempt and was even able to replicate the back lip down the hand rail when I blew it and missed it the first go round. This boy good and he has an extensive bag of tricks that I am looking forward to further documenting in the future fr all of y'all to see! JAH Bless y'all and get out and skate today!

Beauty Out of Babylon is all about thrashing the massive paved sprawl that lies poised and ready for us to unleash our fury upon with no bias to what qualifies as "proper" skateboarding. This means that B.O.O.B. loves the aproach taken by a skateboarder named Brandon Tissen. If this name does not ring a bell then you are in for a righteous dose of what it means to be a comprehensive all around skateboarder. This guy is a glimpse of what total domination of the urban environment via a skateboard looks like and his talents should not be taken lightly. This video is another classic, the type we love around here, but still showcases top notch skating demonstrated by one of the best in the game.
Take this inspiration to the streets of your local residence and see if you can't begin to redefine what can be done at your current skate spots all the while realizing the potential of others that laid unridden. Get out there and break down any limits because there are no rules or regulations in skateboarding; just fun. JAH Bless y'all!

I was recently reading a discussion on "hill bombing" and its place within the skateboard world as not just a feat to test bravery and skill, but also as a means to access a rare form of freedom found no where else but on a skateboard. Admittedly I forgot what publication hosted this discussion but I remember it being geared more toward the "street skating" scene and I say that with no derogatory connotations, but merely expanding upon a classification some may say has been brought upon by our selves as a community. I saw videos of an individual roaring down a hill, obviously it was somewhere in SF, on hard wheels and a small wheelbase in what looked like an all out attempt to merely maintain control over the velocity he was accumulating. I witnessed vast amounts of skill in that showcase, but very little style. I believe it is time as a community to wake up and embrace the technology advancements in modern day skate equipment and quit rolling around on what gear simply because its what we are comfortable on. To show case an individual who embraced this philosphy long, long ago I would like to present a video from the homies at JSM Skateboarding, featuring a man clearly looked over when the #SOTY nominations were being drawn, William Royce. This video has a little dust on it, but thats the kind of classic we like to dig up around here. With out further adieu, I present a video showcasing proper control and style when out for on a bombing mission.
Besides learning lots about the science behind the water cycle I hope you enjoyed watching Will crush it on equipment that let him truly tame his surroundings. Experience this freedom yourself and buy a piece of gear that you wouldn't normally use and experiment with it to expose the benefits it could offer to your personal skateboarding. JAH Bless y'all and please take the time to peruse the new Store Tab offered by Beauty Out of Babylon. We strive to bring a revolutionary mindset to how the art form of skateboarding is perceived to be created and we are so stoked on the support received from the community!

New Mexico is an enchanted place full of exotic sites, cultural experiences found no where else in the world, and oh yes, possibly the best mix of skate spot diversity of any location out there. This petite proximity of hospitable habitat for shred makes this state a breading ground for talented skateboarders to emerge and quickly move to the forefront due to their unique ability to handle all terrains with posse and prowess.  New Mexico has killer street spots in the format of stair sets, endless ledge options, and the infamous ditch system snaking through one of their most populated metropolis's which is home to countless obstacles to get your trick out on. These same drains play host to some of the top speed ditch rides avaliable on planet earth allowing locals to not only shred the plethora of heady obstacles, but do it with mass amounts of speed fueling their imaginations. Ditches are not the sole outlet for the speed demon in all of us when in this great state which also contains roadways that snake up the various mountain ranges that simply scream "Mob me!". It is in this pursuit of speed in the hills of New Mexico where our latest Simply Stoked on the Skating hails and features a good homie of Beauty Out of Babylon, Zion Miller doin' his thing amongst the gorgeous back drop of his home state. Zion kills it on all types of skateboarders but in this particular edit he kills it down hill style throwin' a few steezy squatters for the homies all the while saving the planet on his Sucrose wheels! Big ups homie!
Thank you for taking the time to peep the site and I hope the further you look, the more stoked you get to enjoy your own desires atop your skateboard. Stay tuned for further developments that are currently in the works and make sure to follow @BeautyOutofBabylon on the Instagram thing for live updates of publications as they happen. JAH Bless y'all and thank you skateboarding for harboring such a rad community that we can share!

Some people just have that "it" factor that makes their skating look absolutely effortless and even their mistakes result in an artistic display of pure beauty. Michael Carson (@mcarsonlikescats) is one of these individuals who can wiggle and scoot around on his skateboard pretty darn well no matter what terrain you throw at him which is one of the many reasons that Bonzing skateboards put out a pro model for this all around ripper. Mike has been wasting no time taking over the skating world on his personally designed sled tearing through boarder cross and race courses, burly mountain passes, ditches, and all the concrete that lays in between. If the podium hardware Mike has collected along the way isn't testimony enough for the abilities of this board and its designer, let me present my case in the latest edition of Simply Stoked on the Skating to lay to rest any doubt for the unbelievers. Teaming up with Bonzing, Mike put out a video of him skating his pro model in an effort to let all the homies know that the stoke is real and isn't going anywhere anytime soon! From big standies, to ssskurting squaters, and even a #HallofMeat worthy clip make this an instant banger and worth the watch for all shredders looking to get stoked! With out further adieu, I present Michael Carson ripping and repping his very own skateboard, the MC Cat.
Beauty Out of Babylon is committed to showcasing top notch skateboarding in all of its forms and fashions as well as all the riders out there putting their heart and soul into preserving the sanctity of skateboarding. Michael Carson fits all of these hats plus many more and we here at B.O.O.B. are super stoked for you homie! Keep crushing it and thank you for all you are doing for the skate community!
Help support Mike by picking up one of his pro model Cat boards for your self and by doing so help guarantee the production of high quality skateboard media in the future for us all to enjoy. The secondary benefit to this action is to help to keep skateboarding in the hands of our fellow skaters. By keeping this conscious thought in your head when picking out what gear you want to shred and where you want to purchase it from will help you directly support skaters and companies looking to shape skating based on the voice of the people not corporate pay checks.  JAH Bless y'all and thank you for your continued support for the further advancement of the skateboarding community! Go skate!

I love burly, fast skating that involves tackling technical road ways that makes me nervous even when I am just sitting on my couch at home watching it unfold before me. I know a video has captured me when I find the song used stuck in my head for the rest of the day with images of pre-drifts and corner railing reeing for the enjoyment of my minds eye. I witnessed one such video recently by the folks at Santa Gnarbara who documented  a journey through time and space to ride some of the most radical roads available in Northern California. Consider this a sequel to the previous Simply Stoked on the Skating in which Bonzing's Riding Sideways video was featured, displaying some of the very same roads as the Santa Gnarbara homies tackle in this current publishing. Sit back and enjoy some intense decent's  down roads that test all the skills of the riders who choose to tackle them. JAH Bless!

No matter how hard I try there is absolutely no combination of words  to perfectly paint the skateboarding that transpired on the Bonzing Team camping trip almost a month ago. Combining the "who's" with the "what's" and "where's" in verbal format has a lot of power and is not to be taken for granted but in today's era we have become spoiled by video footage that perfectly depicts events that are now in the past. My goal in presenting the story of the 2015 Selah Skateboard Sabbatical was to take advantage of all the story telling tools that were at my disposal to paint an accurate portrait of all the events that transpired. I started off with using my words in the Written Recap and then offered a Photo Editorial to enhance the perception already created by each individuals imagination.  The final phase is to bring those photographs to live via a moving picture show and lucky for us, the good folks at Bonzing just dropped an edit featuring footie from the recent camping trip! Video footie takes out any uncertainty of exactly how that road was skated or exactly how that drift went down making this video the perfect way to tie up my remittences of the recent tour. I now feel that you the skater finally has a clear idea of the skateboarding that was experienced as well as what it truly means to Bonz! Sit back and enjoy this mash up of footage from the Team Bonzing Camping Trip as well as some hammers being dropped by the only Bonzing team rider who was absent from the trip, Adrian DaKine, skating some terrain he found as he rode his motorcycle across the country.
Thank you for checking out and supporting this grass roots, community based project. It is my goal to present skateboarding at its core, being practice by the core of its community at a top notch level. Bonzing Skateboards is a company that is worth supporting and getting behind to help keep skateboarding in the hands of skaters. JAH Bless y'all and don't let the man tread on us, stand up for your right to skate!

The mountains of North Carolina are home to many a road that is held in high regard by the entire downhilling community and considered by some to be one of the top thriving scenes in the game right now. Capitalizing on this beautiful landscape is a crew that goes by NCDH (North Carolina Down Hill) and it is comprised of some of the fastest and gnarliest riders in the North Cackalacky hill country.  Among these ranks is a man named Grant Palmer (@cosmiccrusadergrant) who knows how to wiggle and skid his way down with the best of them. I wanted to share not only a gorgeous view of the state I am blessed to call home but also someone who knows how to create some of the raddest art on top of asphalt snakes that meander their way down the hillside. This particular run is at "The Slab" and Grant shows us what its like to ride this beast after putting in your time to dial in the perfect line.
Note: Grant Rides for Lassiez Faire Skate Co. & Apex Out Fitters and Board Co.
JAH Bless y'all and keep your stay tuned for a big announcement from Beauty Out of Babylon coming in the next  few days that you will not want to miss. Get out and endure the summer heat to get that skate time in because the reward will be well worth the sweat!

"Skate Everything" is a term that is gaining popularity in our community to describe a pure pursuit to ride a skateboard on all types of terrain while maintaining complete dominance over your sled. Nothing feeds the stoke fire here at Beauty Out of Babylon then experiencing the unbelievable experiences offered by pavements and/or feature variation thrown into the mix when we go out for a rip and it is our goal to spread these life altering possibilities skateboarding offers to the masses. To aid in this mission I present a media presentation that completely affirms these claims about skateboarding and showcases a perfect  definition of what "skate everything" means when properly practiced. Kody Noble (@noble_1) has a unique gifting on a skateboard as demonstrated on the streets of San Fran in the following video which showcases top notch freeriding perfectly synthesized with street elements. This video has some years on it but I figured I would brush  the dust off of a classic and although Kody no longer rides his skateboard professionally, you can bet he is still riding it every single day on the quest for that stoke which can be found no where else.
I encourage everyone reading this to get out and taste a new fruit offered by the Skateboarding Tree that you haven't yet enjoyed. Grab a board with a little more wheel base then you are used to or swap out those soft wheels for something a little harder and hit your local park to roll around. Do not get boxed into confinement as to what skateboarding is supposed to be and take back the outlaw spirit we are rooted so deeply in and make skateboarding whatever you want it to be! JAH Bless y'all and make sure to gear up for your new adventures at your area's skateboarding supply depot aka your local skate shop.
