A captured moment in skateboarding history has the power to convey much more then just the trick or maneuver that the rider was pulling off in that split moment. Moods, emotions, and stories are deeply engrained in the photograph its self which is why I feel they hold such power. I invite you to inquire of this power while searching for the whole story behind the sessions captured which compose this weeks Photo Editorial. Enjoy.
I hope you enjoyed scanning through these visuals and experiencing the moods and emotions felt by each individual as their session progressed. Skating is the ultimate expression of freedom which is the ultimate message and I hope these photographs captured that mentality to its fullest. I want to thank Eastern Skateboard Supply as well as Permanent Vacation skate shop for playing host to this weeks skating as well as a big thank you to all the skaters, named and un-named, for the visual stoke and inspiration. Keep checking back because I promise many, many more pictures are to come but in the mean time make sure to give us a follow on instagram @beautyoutofbabylon for exclusive material that doesn't always make the site. Go out and hop on your skateboard today because there is no better time to go out for a rip then now! JAH Bless!
I am a skater who lives in Baltimore, MD. I am looking to spread the love of skateboarding through both visual and written means.
