With the on sought of Father Winters arrival in full effect, skateboarding outside can almost seem out of the question due to fear of possibly freezing rather than steezing. I know many of you out there are probably battling snow which is a whole other animal in squashing the possibility of shred and I hope you thaw out soon and can get back on the board. It is in these dire times that sessions become even more valuable due to their rarity. I have been fortunate to have the blessing of the Eastern Skateboard Supply skate park to nestle up in, safe and protected from the harsh elements. I was able to put the board to the side for a long enough time to capture a few images for all of y'all out there to vicariously live through my lens and check out what the #ESSCrew does on our down time. I also was afforded a fairly pleasant night to get out and skate a back yard ramp owned by my new homie Art. He built the ramp for the skateboarding community in Wilmington NC and had every intention to share it with all skaters. I am super stoked on how the ramp skated and on how the boys skated it that particular night. I am as equally appreciative for the chance to get access to such a rad structure and I can't wait to get back! Enjoy the skateboarding pictures that follow and do what ever it takes to reward your self with a session and hold on to the truth that spring will break winters spell soon enough.
Thank you for checking out the latest batch of skateboarding photography that I am very proud to showcase in an effort to spread the sheer excitement possessed by this contraption we play around on. I hope you were able to find the inspiration to get out and brave what ever is fighting down your efforts to shred by seeing some of your fellow brothers on boards do their thing. I'd like to once again say thank you to Eastern Skateboard Supply as well as Art for hosting these latest sessions that I was fortunate enough to be a part of. Give us a follow on the insta-thingy @beautyoutofbabylon in order to afford your self the best chance at viewing more exclusive material strictly pertaining to skateboarding; sorry no selfies to be found. JAH Bless y'all in all of your pursuits of shred because JAH would stop to skate that spot you've been eying for to long now and so should you.
I am a skater who lives in Baltimore, MD. I am looking to spread the love of skateboarding through both visual and written means.
