Skateboarding is a dynamic creature and is constantly shifting and evolving with its surroundings all in an effort of not only survival, but also a desire to flourish by utilizing newly avaliable tools and resources. The aspect of video coverage is a prime example of this with the days of anxiously awaiting the arrival of 411VM in the mail being replaced with almost an over saturation of clips popping up on almost every internet platform possible. With this amount of skateboarding to gaze upon at our leisure it can all start to blend together. To me a video that really stands out portrays skateboarding in a way that is as unique as the experience its self. With that being said Jared Henry (@bigsmoothie101) of Comet Skateboards has put out a resurrected edit that stood out to me and had me in a trance which could either be from the radical skateboarding performed by Jared or the perfect pairing of Aborigine didgeridoo music. Which ever the culprit may be I am 100% down for it and felt this video had the merit to be passed along. Sit back and press play and embrace the 4 minutes and 34 seconds of brain food for future shred escapades of your own.
Remember to keep searching out for those skater owned brands that are producing products for you, the real skateboarder. By supporting these companies, like Comet Skateboards, you are ensuring the ability of progressive minded skateboarders to push the limits of what is possible on a skateboard while delivering you top notch gear for you to experience the thrill for you self. Hit your local shop and ask for them to carry the brands that meet this criteria and help keep the wheels rolling in the right direction in the skate world. JAH Bless y'all and get out and enjoy the warmer weather by dumping thane, poaching ledges, hucking stair sets, or railing corners....its ALL skateboarding so try it all!
I am a skater who lives in Baltimore, MD. I am looking to spread the love of skateboarding through both visual and written means.
